Ces petits objets picturaux (10 x 8 x 3,5 cm) associent de fa\u00e7on ambig\u00fce la mati\u00e8re du tableau \u00e0 l\u2019espace a\u00e9rien de l\u2019image. Chaque \u00e9l\u00e9ment est soit un bloc de graphite scintillant, soit un tableau-bo\u00eete partiellement recouvert de poudre de graphite. Les petites bo\u00eetes contiennent des galets et des images de nuage\u00a0; leur surface est constitu\u00e9e d\u2019un voilage translucide ou d\u2019une photo transparente sur verre (arbres sur fond de ciel, nuages).\u00a0<\/span>
\nLes \u00e9l\u00e9ments de The fine art of flying se pr\u00e9sentent en arrangements variables selon le lieu. Suite montr\u00e9e en 1993 lors d\u2019une exposition au Fort St Jean \u00e0 Marseille (\u201cL\u2019atelier des Capucins au fort St Jean\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n
